“It is his words that matter …polished, skilful, entertaining, turning the paragraphs out with the zest and sheen you expect to see among the top three-year-olds in the parade ring.”
Alastair Burnet
With five decades of covering top level sport as both broadcaster and writer, Brough has a unique capacity for bringing the history and excitement of sport alive. He has a story for every occasion.
He has been present at some of the world’s greatest sporting occasions – World Cup finals, Boxing matches, Grand Prix’s and Olympic games – and every high profile horse race since the 1970’s. He has ridden Red Rum on the beach, followed in the footsteps of Churchill in the Sudan and been punched in the parade ring!
He has spoken at race meetings and conferences all around the world including at the Melbourne Cup, Epsom Derby and National Sporting Library, Virginia. He has also appeared at many literary festivals including recently at the prestigious Daily Mail Chalke Valley History Festival, delivering speeches on both Warrior and Churchill.
Brough remains as enthusiastic as ever to tailor-make each speech for the corporate or consumer audience it is for. His speeches will be filled with anecdotes that will both entertain and amuse.
