If you liked “Warrior” the book, you should love the DVD. As with the book, the original was made a few years ago but it has now been updated with a long interview setting Warrior, World War One and indeed his own home land of the Isle of Wight in context.
It has original footage on the Island but also across the battlefields of the Western Front much of which is filmed on horseback as I go in search of a phantom figure which is my grandfather on Warrior. Its title is “Warrior, The Real War Horse” and it can be got from www.racingpost.com/bookshop/memorabilia or by clicking the links on this website.
